Rumored Remake?!

The 1989 classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off is rumored to be casting for a remake!
The beloved teen hero Matthew Broderick has agreed to the making of the sequel, and ideas for the new cast are already appearing.

Ferris: Drake (Degrassi), or Anton Yelchin
Cameron: Clark Duke or Michael Cera
Sloane: Zoe Kravitz or Olivia Thirbly
Jeanie: Kat Dennings or Alia Shawkat

This movie seems to be controversial, especially to those fans of the 80s and 90s classic, personally, I think this remake could be disastrous...but with the right casting there is a slim chance it will be good, yet without a doubt it will never live up to the status of Broderick's rebellious teen movie.
