Baby It's Cold Outside...

Yes, it's finally December and the happiest time of the year. Despite the fact that we have midterms in a couple weeks, once those two painful days are through, its BREAK. Time to sit by the fire sipping hot apple cider, wear layers and layers of clothing to stay warm, wrap yourself in scarves, cover your fingers with mittens, go ice skating with that cute boy you just might like, make that trip up to mammoth you've been waiting for since last march, and relax. No school. No worries. It's time for Christmas, it's time for Hanukah, it's time for Kwanzaa, and most importantly: THE NEW YEAR.

New years is when you get to start on a clean slate, make your resolutions for the year to come, and this new year, Obama becomes president. New years is also the time when you can party all night and start off the year having fun.

They're so much fun and not too over priced.

I've been a few times and it's about $40 for a manicure pedicure with airbrushed fingers.

Here's something I put together as a background for my computer. Its fun and easy, just drag pictures onto a powerpoint slide and arrange them how you like, then you can add text boxes for quotes if you like :)

It ends up looking really cool, especially if you go into your preferences and make a tiled background, then it repeats itself.

Over 91,732,950,000 water bottles and beverage cans have been landfilled, littered, and incinerated in the U.S. so far this year.  That's a lot of wasted plastic, and not to mention a lot that isn't being recycled.  This year we need to think about how we can use our resources a little bit smarter. One good idea is to get a SIGG, eco-friendly water bottle.  They're good for the environment, keep your water tasting good, and even come in cute designs. I know a lot of people have Nalgene water bottles, but make sure yours is BPA free.
